MIL-STD-810G/H: Dell confirms that the Latitude 7220 Rugged Extreme has passed tests based on the MIL-STD-810G and MIL-STD-810H military standards to evaluate its resistance to severe environmental and mechanical conditions. In practice, this provides greater reliability against shocks, vibrations, extreme temperatures, and other factors commonly encountered in industrial and field work.
IP65 – IEC 60529: Certification confirming complete protection against dust ingress and resistance to water jets. It does not mean that the tablet is submersible, but it does mean that it is prepared to work in dust, dirt, and moisture conditions that are considerably more demanding than those faced by a conventional device.
