Descripción del producto

The Dell PowerEdge R710 is a 2U rack enterprise server designed for data centre environments, virtualisation, intensive storage workloads, and mission-critical applications that demand maximum availability, parallel processing capacity, and real scalability over time. It features two Intel Xeon Quad Core E5540 processors running at 2.53 GHz in a dual-socket configuration, delivering a total of eight physical cores and sixteen simultaneous processing threads, making it a high-performance platform for virtualisation workloads running VMware, Hyper-V or KVM, large-scale databases, rendering, simulation, and enterprise mission-critical services. The 48 GB of DDR3 RAM provides a generous and more than sufficient memory base to deploy multiple virtual machines simultaneously with ample resources, or to power high-consumption data analysis and management applications without compromising overall system performance. In terms of storage, the server is equipped with two 3.5-inch 146 GB SAS hard drives at 15,000 rpm, delivering access times and transfer rates characteristic of the enterprise range, while the four remaining bays out of the six available are empty and ready to expand storage capacity according to project requirements. The integrated PERC 6/i RAID controller allows disk management in hardware RAID configurations for data protection and redundancy without impacting the main processor performance. The four available PCIe X8 slots offer outstanding expansion capacity for additional network cards, HBA controllers, storage accelerators, or other specialised hardware solutions. A DVD optical drive rounds out the unit for system installation and maintenance tasks. A professionally refurbished enterprise-grade server, ideal for businesses, system integrators, technical laboratories, and development environments that need real computing power at a refurbished price with full warranties.
