The HP ProLiant DL360 G5 Barebone is a barebone server designed for environments that require a professional platform for configuring storage and deployment according to the needs of each project. It features 2x Intel Xeon E5345 processors running at 2.3 GHz, a dual-processor configuration intended for server workloads, internal services, technical laboratories, or controlled hardware expansions. Its 8 GB of DDR2 ECC RAM provide error-correcting memory, suitable for this type of system and focused on stability during continuous operation. In terms of storage, the server is supplied without hard drives or SSDs, maintaining its barebone configuration so that users can install the compatible drives they require. The specified configuration includes 8 memory slots (all populated) and 6 free drive bays, together with an HP Smart Array P400i controller for storage management. It also includes a Combo (CD-RW/DVD) optical drive, useful for reading optical media or performing maintenance tasks. For expansion, it provides 2x PCIe x8 and 2x PCIe x1 slots, allowing compatible expansion cards to be installed according to the intended use. Each device goes through 15 technical checks in our factory in A Coruña, under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards, before being shipped to the customer.

Receipt of the device and initial verification of the batch and documentation.

Internal registration, labelling and serial number to ensure traceability of each unit.

3 Visual inspection

Inspection of the chassis, ports, hinges and external components to classify the cosmetic grade.

4 Professional cleaning

Internal and external cleaning adapted to the type of device, using specific products.

5 Board and connections

Check of the motherboard, internal connections and overall system operation.

6 CPU and memory

Processor and RAM tests under load, when applicable to the product.

7 Storage

Check of the SSD, M.2 or hard drive and replacement with a new unit if it does not pass the tests.

8 Graphics

Graphics card and video output tests according to the device configuration.

9 Ports and connectivity

Inspection of ports, slots, wired network and available wireless connectivity.

10 BIOS and firmware

BIOS or firmware check and update to the manufacturer’s latest stable version.

11 Operating system

Installation of an operating system with an official licence when applicable to the model.
